The Pogues Exhibition

They Gave the Walls a Talking

VERB partnered with EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum and Hot Press to bring The Pogues exhibition to life. An immersive celebration of one of Ireland’s most iconic bands and the legacy of Shane MacGowan. Working from content supplied by EPIC and Hot Press, we led the full exhibition design and visual experience, shaping how the story is experienced in the space.

Work included:
Exhibition identity and logo design
Branded graphics and materials
Exhibition screen content and motion design
3 minute talking heads film featuring key contributors
Social and marketing materials

The exhibition brings together voices from Victoria Mary Clarke, Siobhan MacGowan, Jem Finer, Nick Cave, Damien Dempsey, Cáit O’Riordan and others, building a rich narrative around the band, their influence and the Irish diaspora’s impact on the British music scene.

Originally developed for EPIC in Dublin, the exhibition went on to premiere at the Bob Dylan Center in Tulsa, reaching an international audience.

A raw poetic tribute to The Pogues.
